RACKUS production, Ghana Football Association (GFA), and W Consult on Wednesday January 8, 2014 held a press conference at the GFA headquarters to announce their official partnership during the 2014 World Cup game series.
In the presence of media network representatives, Moderator and Media Officer Sannie Ibrahim made the announcement that RACKUS production had been assigned the role of providing entertainment to the Black Stars of Ghana before and during the team’s 2014 World Cup campaign.
At the press conference both the General Secretary of the GFA, Emmanuel Gyimah, and Felix Okoh, President of RACKUS production expressed their views on the newly formed partnership and what it meant for both the Black Stars and Ghana.
“The Black Stars are global ambassadors for Ghana. Our main priority is to entertain them and ease the tension as they prepare for a successful game,” said the president of RACKUS production, Felix Okoh.

Mr. Gyimah called for more support from the general public and asked that everyone gets involved to ensure a successful world cup season for Ghana’s senior national football heroes. Also, at the press conference table was Kwaku Pra Daniel, Managing Director, and Rita Kusi, Marketing and Public Relations Consultant for RACKUS production, along with Wahid Mounir Hage, President of W-Consult, and Edmund Kyei, Head of Operations, also from W-Consult.
If you recall, on Tuesday, 15th October 2013, both companies collaborated and journeyed to Kumasi to entertain and provide moral support to the Black Stars prior to their big 6-1 victory against Egypt. The intimate entertainment session was held at the Golden Tulip Kumasi City where artists including Shatta Wale and Cwesi Oteng thrilled players and officials of the team with their popular tunes. Surprisingly, the MC for the event predicted the 6-1 victory for the Stars.
RACKUS production believes this small gesture was a contributory factor to the excellent performance displayed by the Black Stars during the first leg of the playoffs against Egypt. The entertainment management company is thrilled with their new role as entertainers for the Black Stars and has vowed to do their part to ensure a successful World Cup 2014. The event wrapped with a Q & A session and one-on-one interviews with company representatives and GFA officials.
