It looks like the hundreds to thousands of patrons expected to throng to the Kumasi Sports Stadium for the second edition of the “Unplugged” Concert will not only have enough to cheer about, they will have the opportunity to laugh out loud as well.
Ghana’s digital lifestyle brand, Tigo Ghana organisers of the Concert have announced Ghana’s King of comedy, Derrick Kobina Bonney shorten to DKB to steer the affairs of the concert in the Garden City.
“Okay check this out. The not incompetent #KingOfComedy #KingOfMC DKB is your host for @tigomusicghana UNPLUGGED CONCERT #youForknow edition. Next week Saturday 28th Nov. Baba Yara stadium. Grab your tickets at Tigo offices,” he confirmed the news on his official Instagram page.
He continued by asking his teeming followers, “Which favourite DKB joke U wana hear that day?”

The choice of the former Ghana’s representative to the biggest reality show on the African continent, Big Brother Africa is his ability to crack side-splitting jokes on the current happenings and make patrons laugh their hearts out.
In the past few months, DKB has hosted the ‘You For Know Concert’ also organized by Tigo Ghana which took place in Koforidua, Takoradi and Kumasi. He was the MC for the 2015 of the Radio and the Personality Awards.
As already made public, performing at the concert is the very best of Ghana musicians and supported by award winning Nigeria Dancehall act, Patoranking.
Current Ghana’s Artiste of the Year, Stonebwoy, controversial Shatta Wale, rejuvenated Hiplife trio VVIP, crowd puller Kwaw Kese, lanky rapper E.L, hardworking Hiplife duo Keche, the fastest rising female Dancehall act MzVee and Kumasi based Flowking Stone of Bradez fame completes the artistes headlining the concert to entertain and excite Tigo customers and Ghanaians.
This year’s edition which takes place on Saturday, 28th November 2015 celebrates the first anniversary of Tigo Music with customers ahead of Christmas and also gives customers the chance to see Ghana’s top music talents perform their favourite hit songs.
