American R&B singer Sisqo and his group Dru Hill have said that, they are ready for Ghana as they get ready to headline the third edition of the “Back In The Day” in December in Accra.
They said this via a phone interview during the launch of the third edition of the annual “Back In The Day” concert.
Empire Entertainment, the organizers of the concert to reminisce the good old days launched the event live on Starr FM’s Starr Drive hosted by Anita Erskine.
This year’s edition is slated for Saturday December 19, 2015 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Hiplife duo Akatakyie made up of two brothers, Prince Kwabena Budu Asumaning (Kobby Culture) and Ebenezer Kwasi Okyere Asumaning (King Pharoah) who are the official local musicians to perform on the night graced the launch.
Taking hiplife back in the day; one can say they have really contributed a lot and some call them the real inventors of hiplife that is the fusion of highlife and hip pop. Their style of music has been the trend many hiplifers has trended on.
Some of their numerous hits includes; Ghana Mmaa, Agoo, Odo Esikyire, Sinsima, Esi, Meyare, Masan Aba, Oman Baapa, Odo You Musu Anaa, and Sie Sie Obaa.
