The writer and Producer of the spectacular theatre show WogbƐJƐkƐ: The Birth OF A Nation, Chief Moomen, will tonight feature on Good Evening Ghana with Paul Adom Otchere to discuss his production which has received rave reviews since it staged on the 4th and 5th of July this year.
WogbƐJƐkƐ: The Birth OF A Nation, is one of several plays written and produced by Chief Moomen to reenact the history of Ghana from pre-colonial to modern times in a series dubbed, Heritage Theatre Series. The ambitious project has been hailed as a great opportunity to sell Ghana’s rich culture and history abroad as well as a potent source of employment for many in the theatre industry.
Chief Moomen will discuss his experiences in putting together such a massive production and his vision for the future. The show airs today, 20th August at 9pm with a repeat on Friday at 1pm.
WogbƐJƐkƐ will rerun at the National Theatre this Saturday, 22nd August with two showings at 4pm and 8pm. It is directed by Anima Misa Amaoh and Abdul Karim Hakib and sponsored by Keysoap. Tickets are going for 50GHC regular and 30GHC for children available at National Theatre, Osu Koala, Silverbird and Batsoona Total.
