Controversial rapper Kwaw Kese has been sentenced for a day imprisonment for smoking cannabis in November 2014.
A Kumasi High Court on Thursday presided by judge William Boampong also fined him Gh¢1,200.
GhanaGist.Com understands that, the rapper has paid the fine.
Kwaw Kese has sent over a month in remand when he was arrested by Kumasi Police on Saturday November 22, 2014 at a popular Bar.
He sent few days at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after he was taken ill
“The Man Insane” spent over a month in remand for smoking in public and spent a few days at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after he was taken ill due to poor conditions at the Kumasi Central Prisons.
‘Abodam’ who is facing charges for publicly smoking weed has been on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) after he was taken ill. He was subsequently granted bail on December 30.
He is due for release tomorrow, Friday, April 24, 2015.
