When Torgbe beat other wannabe musicians to win the third season of the MTN Hitmaker competition, many industry pundits doubted his triumph and if he can succeed in mainstream.
But it looks like Torgbe will prove everyone and the controversy surrounding his win wrong.
Torgbe is ready to write his name in the history book of Ghana music, to thrill Africa and the rest of the world with his debut video “Number 9” featuring rapper Kwaw Kese and directed by Prince Dovlo.
It’s still early days yet but he displayed his willing to move to the top of the music ladder in “Number 9”, a Hip Hop song aimed at preaching to people who are trying hard to push him down that, he has God by his side.
Most rappers who don’t sing themselves are limited as an artiste. Torgbe is lucky to be able to rap and sing as well.
There is something magical about Ewe singing which touches people’s hearts. Torgbe exhibited that in the song to announce to the world his singing abilities.
Kwaw Kese supported the song produced by Ball J with controversial and creative raps.
Torgbe is on the Last Two Music Group under the tutelage of Hammer, the celebrated music producer. Are you surprised that he’s working hard to get to the top?
