Ghanaian international model and former M-Net Face of Africa, Kate Tachie Menson has been laying low for a long time and focusing on her career.
She said she is keeping a low profile to work on her career as a model to be like American and English models; Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell.
“I have been focusing on my own career being super model. I want to be Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell, you see, so I need to work, I have been focusing on getting there”, she told GhanaGist.Com.
The former winner of M-Net Face of Africa said she has not been going out to partake in any social activities; instead she has been working and focusing on her career.
Kate is a partner of Ladies in Prestige and Purpose (LIPP GLOBAL), a company that has partnered leading cosmetics brand, Sleek for an ambassador search.
Dubbed the Sleek Ambassador, the project is aimed at unveiling two unique individuals to act as brand ambassadors for Sleek over a year’s period.
Talking about what inspired and her involvement in the Sleek Ambassador search project, she said she now feels like she has gotten somewhere in her career that is pretty good and she is in the right frame of mind to help groom another lady.
“This is what has inspired me. I want to give back. I want to do something for Ghana as well and this is what I’m good at, so here we go.”
“I’m making some money”, she answered with laughter when asked if she is making money in the modeling career.
