The systematic Process of the Ghana Music Awards Festival has started in earnest with the call for Entrries which was officially opened on Wednesday January 14thand closing on Monday 2nd 2015.
Since the announcement for the official call for entries, discussions on various platforms have started already and indeed, this year’s edition of the VGMAs promises to be highly competitive and exciting as industry players and music lovers are looking forward to subsequent activities lined up.
As the closing date for entry draws very near, record labels and artistes managerds are once again kindly remindered to download the forms from www.ghanamusicawards.com or pick up the forms from Charterhouse office at North Industrial Area. All completed entries should be submitted to the offices of Charterhouse not later than February 2nd 2015, or call the following numbers for further information 050-128-2229.
When all forms are duly submitted, The astute VGMA Board will start the arduous task of sorting out the various entries into the deserving categories, which finally leads to the grand launch where nominees will be officially announced.
The VGMA Board is made up of music industry personalities representing the various sectors of the industry. The Board is responsible for categorising and collating the entries submitted as well as shortlisting the final list of nominees for each category.
As has been the usual case the trend of entries is a reflection of the general trend in the industry giving insights into which music genres are growing or declining.
The Calender of activities marking the 15th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, will be announced in subsequent releases.
