Poet/Spoken Word artist has released a 12-tracks mixtape album, A B.I.B.L.E of Things We Do. It was initially announced to be released on September 21st, 2014 via the wordsmith’s facebook page but released two days ahead of schedule, last Friday, September 19th, 2014. A B.I.B.L.E of Things We Do is the first mixtape ever released by a Spoken Word artist in Ghana’s breeding poetry scene.
The mixtape boasts of appearances from rapper Edem, singers Yaa Yaa, Jackie Morris, Reynolds and Myron AK. Productions were handled by Magnom and Danny Beatz as well as upcoming producers Drumroll (who produced Sarkodies’ Oluwa is involved), Camaflaj, Moxkito and the poet himself. A freestyle cover of R2BEES’s Killing Me Softly (produced by Killbeatz) titled …Who’s Hot… is also one of the 12 tracks on the album.
Previously released works of the poet who busted on the scene last year with ECG Love, a poem that was recorded over an Azonto beat, were featured on the tape. No Explanation, We High, Sandra Claus (Chlismas in Kumasi) and How She Lost it were some of previously released works on the tape. However, mostly previously unreleased works were featured on the tape.
God’s iPod, My Two Girlfriends, B, Telenovela and I am Asamoah Gyan are some of the titles of songs on A B.I.B.L.E of Things We Do. The poet’s team last however released “I am Asamoah Gyan” on Monday, September 22nd, 2014 as a single from the team.
“We have worked on videos for My Two Girlfriends and No Explanation which will be released in October and November respectively”, Nenebi said.
