Ghanaian actress Nana Akua Addo was adjudged ‘Best New Actress of the Year’ at the 5th City People Entertainment Awards held at 10 Degrees Events Centre in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos on Sunday, June 22, 2014.
She picked the award ahead of Chichi Neblet, Bibi Bright, Salma Mumni, Kisa Gbekle and Adu Safowaah Regina.
“Thanks immensely for your votes and support. To all my fans and friends, yes we won”, she commented.
Nana Akua Addo was Miss Malaika 2003 second runner-up and Miss Ghana-Germany 2005.
She has featured in movies including Raj – The Dancer, Believe Me, Hidden Passion, Crazy Scandal, Breaking the Rules, Destiny’s Child, Wanna Be,Speechless, Rain and others.
