AK Songstress and Patoranking
Ghana’s Dancehall act, AK Songstress has been spotted in a studio session with Nigeria’s Patoranking, fastest rising Reggae/Dancehall star over the weekend in the capital.
Patoranking is signed on Foston Musik. He was formerly with Timaya’s Dem Mama Records.
Sources say, he was flown in last Sunday by Paradise Entertainment after the MTV Music Awards in South Africa purposely for collaboration with the label’s empress and left the country on Tuesday.
The two fastest rising African artistes were spotted in a happy and chatty mood indicating their team work spirit.
Giving the song title as ‘Rock Your Body’, the source again indicated that the song will be AK’s 6th single but the 3rd in terms of collaboration. The song was produced in Ghana by Danny Beatz.
‘Rock Your Body ‘is done and will be released for fans and music lovers hopefully very soon.
Details on the single are still sparse but an in house source has said the single will be featured on AK’s coming studio album which will be released later.
It was also disclosed that the empress will team up with some prestige international and A-list musicians on her coming album.
