Germany came back from a goal down to tie the Black Stars of Ghana 2 – 2 in their second Group G match. Bayern Munich’s Mario Gotze put the Germans in the 51st minute.
Dede Ayew responded well with a powerful header to make it 1-1 all in the 54 minuted. Skipper Asamoah Gyan added also scored in the 63rd minute to make it Germany 1 – 2 Ghana.
Substitute Miroslav Klose put the Germans on level pegging with a superb finish to make it 2-all and equalling Ronaldo of Brazil’s 15 goals at the World Cup in the 71st minutes.
